Week 14 is gearing up to be one of the more interesting weeks of the NFL season so far, with heavy playoff implications. The top games of the week are slated to be: Eagles vs Saints, and the Steelers vs Bills.
Eagles vs Saints
The biggest news coming out of this upcoming game is the new starter in Philadelphia. After weeks of Carson Wentz struggles, and speculation going on weekly, Jalen Hurts has been named quarterback for this game. Hurts came into the game briefly last week against the Packers and helped lead a small comeback. Hurts came in 2nd in the Heisman Trophy voting last year, losing to Joe Burrow. The Saints have won 9 straight games, and seem to have the number 1 seed in the playoffs this year. Taysom Hill, who has had an impressive past couple of games, will remain the quarterback for the saints.
Steelers vs Bills
The two best teams in the league faceoff tonight, previewing a possible playoff rematch. The Steelers look to bounce back following an embarrassing loss to the Washington Football team, which ended their undefeated season. Josh Allen looks to continue his amazing season, with a career-high in passing yards(3,403) and touchdowns(26). Allen is top five in MVP voting this year, and he looks to prove himself this week, after struggling last year against the steelers. The Steelers have a lethal pass rush, leading the league in sacks, and they look to give Allen trouble. The Steelers give up an average passer rating of just 73.8. This will be the first matchup between Josh Allen and Ben Roethlisberger, Allen has been compared to Roethlisberger ever since entering the league. The Steelers will be without many weapons like Joe Haden, Bud Dupree, and Robert Spillane. The Bills will be without Jaquan Johnson, and Mario Addison is questionable.
