Thanksgiving Thursday always brings a ton of exciting NFL games, and this Thanksgiving is no different:
Lions vs Texans:
The Lions are trying to bounce back after their embarrassing 24-0 loss to the PJ Walker led Panthers. The Lions sit at the bottom of the NFC North with a 4-6 problem, and if they want any chance of making the playoffs they will have to win tomorrow. Although dealing with some struggles this season, Matthew Stafford has proven he could still play, with 2,591 yards and 17 touchdowns.
After an impressive performance against the Patriots, the Romeo Crennel led Texans look to make it a 2 game winning streak by beating the Lions. Led by their talented young Quarterback, Deshaun Watson, had an impressive game last week with 344 yards and 2 touchdowns.
The Washington Football Team vs Cowboys
For the 2nd time in 3 years, the Cowboys and the Washington Football team are facing off for Thanksgiving. This rivalry always brings amazing games, and this one has all signs pointing towards to another one. After the benching of Dwyane Haskins and the injury to Kyle Allen, Alex Smith has gotten another chance to prove he can play after his horrific injury. Smith was efficient last Sunday against the Bengals, leading the team to a 20-9 win.
The Cowboys are also coming off a big win, beating the Vikings 31-28. With Andy Dalton back, the Cowboys offense ran much more fluidly and energized off a trusted quarterback. Dallas weapons Ezekial Elliot, Amari Cooper, and CeeDee Lamb will be a lot for the Washington team to handle. Elliot, coming off his first 100-yard game, looks to dominate the mediocre run defense of Washington.
Ravens vs Steelers
The Ravens have definitely been a disappointment this season, with Lamar Jackson struggling to repeat last years success. They are still highly efficient in the running game, especially with read options. On defense, the ravens allow an average of 19 points a game, and 333 yards of total offense.
The Steelers have definitely proved their doubters wrong this year. As the last undefeated team standings, the Steelers look to go 16-0, which hasn’t been done in over 10 years. The Steelers have one of the most talented defenses in the league with TJ Watt, Stephon Tuitt, and Bud Dupree. Anytime these 2 teams meet, it’s always an exciting game, and this upcoming one is no less.
